Adorable as they are,

the holidays are never as great as I'd like them to be.

First of all, buying whoever your Kris Kringle presents for? Not fun, especially when you are in no way close to them. Even though they are relatives.

That brings me to another point. Relatives. Especially the obnoxious ones. When they get drunk. Arg.
And then there's the whole cousins thing. Just so you know, I HATE most of my cousins. There are a few I can handle. The rest can do whatever they want, just don't bother me.

The last thing? Having to deal with getting stuff you don't want. I mean, if you really want to get me anything as a gift, make it music, books, or gift cards. Only clothes I go with you to buy are acceptable. And no make up. I am fiercely against make up because it just hides who you actually are. If you really want to look prettier, go get yourself some self-esteem and confidence and have a good day. It also just costs NOTHING.

The insanity. Ugh, plus, corporations are just making money, even in our failing economy. *sigh*

At least there's always my blog and my friends to make up for it.
